Julie is a seasoned exercise professional, with many years experience in both Group Exercise and Personal Training. She is an accredited Pilates Foundation teacher, having studied at the Scott Studio under the direction of Suzanna Scott. Julie's primary focus is to ensure clients understand the purpose of each exercise, encouraging then to be fully aware of what is happening in their bodies with each movement. That way, she is able to facilitate the maximum benefit from the exercise sequence for each individual client. By helping the client to focus on the connection between the mind, body and breathing throughout the exercise programme, Julie will ensure you come away from your group or individual session, feeling the difference in your body, and motivated ready for your next session.
Julie is an excellent teacher, able to draw on her many years' experience in the fitness industry to ensure each client gets as much out of their time with her as possible. She has great interpersonal skills, able to put even the most nervous exerciser at their ease, enabling them to take pleasure in their exercise session. Whether it's Pilates, Personal Training or a combination of the two, each client will gain a unique, enjoyable and motivating experience even if they are new to exercise.
Along with her Pilates Foundation Matwork qualification, Julie is also qualified in Exercise to Music, Body Balance, Boxacise, Spinning, Aqua Aerobics, RPM and Circuit Training. She holds a Diploma in Personal Training and Sports Massage along with a BA (hons) in Psychology and Sociology. She is available for one to one Pilates and Personal Training as well as private small group sessions (max of 3 clients per session)
